Business Cards
Business Cards are the most useful marketing tool you can have for your business! I co-branded these to serve both my Face Painting and Graphic Design business. Full-color and double sided, I set these cards out at every event I do as well as keep a bit in my purse and car. I also added a bit of a tip for face paint removal on the back as a courtesy to my customers.
Booking Form
I designed my booking contract form ground-up in InDesign. It is exported as an interactive PDF and contains form fields that the user can fill in acrobat and return the document to me digitally. It is also printable so my customers can fill by hand and mail back. I also print off a hard copy for each event I do. I bring that with me so I have all the needed information, and I keep it in my hard files – always have a back-up!
T-shirt Design
A simple t-shirt to keep me easily identifiable at my events. This keeps awkward introductions when I arrive at a minimum and keeps me looking clean and professional. I added just a little bit of my icons and the same font to reinforce my brand.
Signage Displays
This digitally printed sandwich board sign is my favorite piece in my marketing collateral. It’s lightweight enough to carry around but large and sturdy enough to make for a stand-out display at events. I used a bold, large font for the heading so it can be seen from a distance.
All of the face selections were designed in Illustrator – a great exercise in digital illustration – and are a simplified representation of what will be painted (I often hear that the actual painting is way better than the sign which I take as a good thing; I “WOWed” them).
The board slides into the frame so I can swap out designs for each event, and have different selections for special holidays. My favorite selection is my July 4th board as I use many of my popular designs and adapt them to the holiday, and add a few new designs especially for the day.
I have also designed similar signage for fellow face painters as the utility has been immediately recognized and appreciated in our network. Good signage is so important in perception of value and professionalism! Seemingly a simple piece, but so versatile and valuable to the everyday functioning of my face painting business.
